Here we are in beautiful Fredericksburg Virginia!

The event kicked off Thursday afternoon at 2. The weather was so-so thursday morning with heavy fog and cold. There were 150 or so under the tent. Friday picked up with some sun and people started to show up in numbers. By the evening session there were about 700-800 people under the tent. I drummed for my team that night. It felt like a solid set. The Lord's heart over this conference has been so amazing.

Friday night things got a little nasty with rain and wind. Up on the farm land the ground doesn't absorb much water. We are on a hill and you'd think that would help but not so fast, by midnight there was standing water in the tent!

Next day, the ATD team decided to shuttle people from WalMart (2 miles away) due to muddy parking lots. As the rain continued and fear of having to shut down the event, the team started to pray. After about an hour the skies parted over the tent and blue skies came out! The wind picked up and dried the ground too.

Some quick road work and things were back to normal.

Speaking and Ministry

Leif Hetland spoke Thursday and blew the doors open with a message on the Father heart, the orphan spirit and sonship. It set the tone for all that's followed. The Lord has been knitting our hearts with His sonship message.

Corey Russell spoke Friday night on knowing the Holy and the #1 issue facing the Church today: We do not know God. It was so powerful. My heart was crushed under the weight of the words, it struck the inner most core of my soul at levels I've never felt before. I walked away that night feeling so small and longing to be so much closer to the heart of God.

Yesterday afternoon Allen Hood preached his most "important message" ever on the book of Joel. Talking about the spiritual place we are in as a nation. The word of God was opened up in such a way that gave clear revelatory understanding across the whole tent, it was incredibly clear how desperately we need to be on our faces in repentance, fasting and prayer. What better than to do so under a tent!

Today, Roger Joyner, from JHOP-SanFran, spoke with emotion on God's power to save our lives, raise up a Holy generation and release the power of His kingdom into a dark world. He spoke about his personal history, salvation and his burning desire to do the will of the Father. He spoke about the tabernacle of David being raised up in this hour with little bands of people lobbying for the presence of God. He spoke on authentic relationship and how the '60s generation missed the inheritance of God's presence & that this generation is able to rise up and contend for the older generation till the presence of God comes for both. More than rock music, we have songs that carry the presence.

Sunday brought a shift from regular conference schedule into a 12 hour solemn assembly (Joel 2 style). The day went well. There were times where people seemed to get tired and drift off in the middle of the day but overall Awaken the Dawn was able to keep a constant place of worship and intercession. During our last set, the generator shut down and silenced everything. It was interesting... It took about an hour to get things back online. We just picked up where we left off and kept going!

The ATD team from the Fredericksburg Prayer Furnace were, once again, amazing! Thank you guys for follow the Lord in all that you do.
